Ariadna Tibau, MD, PhD

Ariadna Tibau is a research collaborator with PORTAL and a Medical Oncologist and Health Services Researcher at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona, Spain. In her clinical practice, she provides care to patients with breast cancer.

Tibau’s research focuses on oncology drug development, the clinical benefit and value of cancer care, and the study of patient-reported outcomes. She has published over 40 peer-reviewed manuscripts in high-impact journals, including The BMJ, Lancet Oncology, Journal of Clinical Oncology, JAMA Oncology, and the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.

Tibau received her MD from the University of Barcelona in 2003. She completed postgraduate training in medical oncology at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau from 2006 to 2009, followed by a research fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital, University of Toronto, from 2012 to 2013.
